Install the Short-Cap provided by pressing down and twisting CW. Note: If Photocell Sensor is provided see the following for instructions. Optional Microwave Motion Sensor(FALC-LV-MS ONLY) 1 2 The Integrated Microwave Motion Sensor is a programmable motion detector. This is only for the FALC-LV-MS models ONLY. The default factory settings are as follows: Detection Area=100%, Hold Time=5 sec, Stand-By Period=5 sec, Stand-By Dimming Level=10%, and Daylight (Photo) Sensor=Disable. Note: If the Microwave Motion Sensor is not included or adjustment is not needed, the following steps can be skipped. MOTION SENSOR DIP SWITCHES FALC-LV SHELL COVER SCREWS Microwave Motion Sensor DIP Pin Setting Detection Area Detection area having motion and not enough ambient light will activate the sensor. The sensor can be set at 100%, 75%, 50%, or 10%. Hold Time Hold Time refers to the time period the fixture remains at 100% illumination after motion is detected. Hold Time can range from 5s to 20 minutes. The fixture will remain at full illumination until ‘Hold Time’ ends, then reducing to Stand-By Dimming Level. Stand-By Period The Stand-By period begins when the ‘Hold Time’ ends. The fixture remains at a Stand-By Dimming Level before it completely switches off while motion is not present. When set to “+∞” mode, the low led light is held until motion is detected. Daylight (Photo) Sensor The Daylight Sensor, measured in LUX can be set to allow the fixture to illuminate below a surrounding minimum ambient brightness threshold. The sensor can be set from 2 to 100 LUX. When set to Disable mode, the Daylight Sensor will switch on the fixture when motion is detected regardless of ambient light. Stand-By Dimming Level Stand-By Dimming Level is when ‘Hold Time’ has ended, there is no movement in the area and the light output is reduced. The Stand-By Dimming Level can be set at 50%, 30%, 20%, or 10%. By selecting the combination on the DIP switches, sensor data can be precisely set for each specific application as seen below. +∞ +∞ SHORT-CAP NEMA RECEPTACLE Turn over the FALC Fixture showing the Fin side. All FALC Fixtures come with a NEMA Seven-Prong Twist Lock receptacle (Compatible with Three-Prong Photocell Sensors) with Short-Cap to be installed. Remove the Short-Cap by twisting CCW and lifting. Optional Photocell Sensor The Photocell Sensor has a Dusk to Dawn functionality. The Photocell Sensor can be easily field installed on all FALC fixtures as shown below. Note: If the Photocell Sensor is not included the following steps can be skipped. If the Photocell Sensor is included prior to field installation, Step 1 can be skipped. 1 Place the Photocell Sensor on the NEMA receptacle. Push down and twist CW. Connect the ACL and the ACN from the FALC Fixture to the conduit with the AC Power Supply Cable. Follow the Wiring Diagram provided.

1 All FALC fixtures have one Cable coming from the luminaire. 2

Remove the [4] Socket headscrews from the AC-ALC-SF.

Run the FALC Cable from the FALCFixture and the SLIPFITTER MOUNT to thePole and follow the Wiring Diagram providedto properly install the light fixture to thePOWER SUPPLY CABLE. All wiring mustbe installed by a certified electrician andmust be compliant to NEC standards.

If needed to tilt the FALC FIXTURE,loosen the Socket Head Screw tounmate the teeth of the FALCBRACKET MOUNT and theSLIPFITTER .

Align the teeth from the FALC Bracket Mountwith the teeth on the SLIPFITTER. Use Cautionwith the FALC Cable during assembly. Use awrench to install the SOCKET HEAD SCREWand assemble the AC-ALC-SF SLIPFITTER.

8 Move the FALC FIXTURE to thedesired tilt angle. Mate the teeth ofthe FALC BRACKET MOUNT andthe SLIPFITTER together. Tightenthe Socket Head Screw with a wrench.

AC-ALC-AM can be used on a Round Pole or a Square Pole

Drill holes on the square poleby following the Drilling Templateto mount the FALC to the desiredheight.

If the FALC fixture is being installedto a square pole, remove the round polegasket.

Remove the [4] Flat-Head MachineScrews and the Side Plate beforeinstalling into the FALC Fixture.

Run the FALC Cable through theinside the Arm Mount. Align the holeand teeth from the Arm Mount withthe FALC Bracket Mount and use theSocket Head Screw to fasten themtogether at the appropriate Fixture tiltangle.

Run the Power Supply Cable inside the MountingPole through the 3/8” clearance hole and into the ArmMount. Follow the Wiring Diagram to properly connectthe FALC Fixture.

For the Round Pole, repeat Steps1-6 the same asa Square Pole, except the round pole gasket will stillbe attached to the ARM MOUNT.

All wiring must be installed by a certified electricianand must be compliant to NEC standards. Once allwiring is properly installed fasten the SIDE PLATE backto the Arm Mount.

Prior to installing remove the LockingPlate from the Arm Mount by removing theSocket Head Screws. This allows for theparts to be removed as well. Depending onwhether a round pole or square is used willdetermine which parts are needed.

Place the lock plate and gasketinside the Mounting Pole and fastenthe FALC Fixture onto the pole withthe Socket Head Screws removed inStep 2.

If the Power Supply Cable is coming from the wall, the Power Supply Cable willrun through the center of the Trunnion Mount. Then, mount the Trunnion Mount ontothe Mounting Surface using the appropriate mounting Bolts.

(Optional) This hole is onlynecessary if the power supplycable will be coming out the wall.

Once the FALC Fixture is properlysecured to the Trunnion Mount, adjustthe fixture to the desired tilt angle andfasten the Socket Head Screw.

Align the teeth from theFALC Bracket Mount to theTrunnion Mount. Use theSocket Head Screw to fastenthem together. You canconnect the FALC CABLE tothe Power Supply withoutusing a Junction Box only ifused with a weather proofconnector.

5If the Power Supply Cable is ran from a Conduit, the FALC Cable must befed into a Junction Box specific for outdoor applications. All wiring must be doneinside the J-BOX and all cables must be fed through a water proof connector.

Insert the Universal Mount onto the Pole andfasten the [4] Socket Head Screws.

7 If needed to tilt the FALCFixture loosen the Socket HeadScrew and unmate the teeth ofthe FALC Bracket Mount andthe Universal Mount. Rotatethe FALC Fixture to the desiredtilt angle. Mate the teeth of theFALC Bracket Mount and theUniversal Mount together andfasten the Socket Head Screw.

Use a wrench, to fasten the Socket Head Screw.Use Caution with the FALC Cable during assemblywith the Universal Mount.

Prior to installing, remove theLocking Plate from the UniversalArm Mount by removing the SocketHead Screws. This allows for theparts to be removed as well.Depending on whether a RoundPole or Square Pole is used willdetermine which parts are needed.

Note: If the FALC Fixture is beinginstalled to a round pole this step canbe skipped. Remove the Round PoleAdapter Plate and Gasket.

Remove the [4] Flat-Head MachineScrews and the Side Plate beforeinstalling into the FALC Fixture.

Run the FALC Cable through theinside of the Arm Mount. Align the holeand teeth from the Arm Mount with theFALC Bracket Mount and use the SocketHead Screw to fasten them together atthe desired FALC Fixture tilt angle.

Place the Locking Plate and Gasketinside the Mounting Pole. Run thePower Supply Cable through the 0.48”clearance Slot and fasten the FALCFixture onto the Mounting Pole with theSocket Head Screws removed in Step 2.

Attach the FALC Cable to the Power Supply Cable.Follow the Wiring Diagram to properly connect the FALCFixture.

For the Round Pole, repeat Steps 1-6 the sameas a Square Pole, except the Round Pole AdapterPlate will still be attached to the Arm Mount.

All wiring must be installed by a certified electricianand must be compliant to NEC standards. Once allwiring is properly installed fasten the Side Plate andGasket back to the Arm Mount.

Adjust the tilt angle on the FALC Fixture to thedesired location. Tighten the Socket Head Screwswith an wrench to keep the fixture in place.

Drill holes on theMounting Surface byfollowing the DrillingTemplate to mount theTrunnion Mount to thedesired height.

If the Power Supply Cable is coming from a Junction Box theFALC Power Cable must be fed into a Junction Box specific foroutdoor applications. Follow the wiring diagram provided to forinstallation. All wiring must be done inside the J-box and must befed through a water-proof connector. All wiring must be installedby a certified electrician and must be compliant to NEC standards.

Remove the [4] Flat-Head Machine Screws and the Side Plate before installingonto the FALC Fixture.

If the Power Supply Cableis coming from the wall, the PowerSupply Cable will run through thecenter of the Trunnion Mount.Fasten the Trunnion Mount to theMounting Surface using theappropriate mounting Bolts(not included).

Align the teeth of the FALC Bracket Mountto the Trunnion Mount. Use a wrench to fastenthe Socket Head Srew to the Trunnion Mountand the FALC Bracket Mount. You can connectthe FALC Cable to the Power Supply withoutusing a Junction Box only if used with a weatherproof connector.

Once all wiring is properly installed fastenthe Side Plate and Gasket back to theTrunnion Mount.
