The Making of Great Cuban Cigars

• Great tobacco is a marriage of great seeds and fertile land embraced by ideal Cuban climate.

• Tobacco is a winter plant which grows from October to February

• It takes over 250 labor intensive process to make a great cigar which takes over 3 years to complete.

• All fine Cuban cigars are totally organic, there’s no chemical used during growing, fermentation, blending and rolling process

• Cigars, like wines are alive, it is sensitive to its environment and tends to gets better with age.

Quality Control

• Rolled cigars are passed through several control process to check for size, width, length, weight and finally randomly put through suctions machines to ensure that the cigars are not plugged

• Rolled cigars after going through quality control is put to aged

• Cigar are aged between 24 to 36 months depending on the blend of cigars

• Ageing process takes place in an air conditioned room at 18-20c to optimize the flavor and aroma of the cigar

• Aged cigars are sorted into 65 colors shade of wrappers

• Cigar are arranged into the box from darkest color of wrapper on the left to the lightest on the right

• Once boxed cigar are set to rest in an ageing room for a couple of weeks before shipping out to Habanos fans worldwide
