Race Details:
The Pacer for Pets 5K is a 3.1-mile road race that includes a few hills. The race begins and ends near the Lancaster County Central Park Office, 1050 Rockford Rd. Ample parking will be available.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age category.
Registration Fees:
$20 if received by March 31, 2016. All pre-
registrants will receive a t-shirt. Participating
pets will also receive a bandana.
$25 after March 31, 2016 or on race day. T-
shirts and bandanas will be given while
supplies last.

Race day check-in and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The race starts at 10 a.m.
This event will take place rain or shine.
Registrations are considered donations and
will not be refunded.

Pacer for Pets 5K
Runners and walkers of all ages are invited
to participate in this 3.1-mile road race to
help end pet overpopulation. The race route
features the most scenic roads in Lancaster
County Central Park.
Of course, dogs are welcome as long as
they are well-behaved and leashed.
Participating in this event shows not only
that you care about pets but also that you
want to put pet overpopulation on paws!
Lancaster County SPCA
The LCSPCA is a local, independent, non-
profit animal shelter. Founded in 2013 to
address the county’s pet overpopulation
problem, LCSPCA is an open-admission
shelter that never turns away an animal.
In 2015, LCSPCA received 5,840 animals. In
addition to sheltering and providing medical
care for homeless pets, LCSPCA also
investigates animal abuse, operates a trap,
neuter & release program for cats, and offers
humane education programs.
