ADDITIONAL GREEN INITIATIVES BY PAC TRIM ® Specification: In plant dust recycling and metal and vinyl strapping recycling Intent: To minimize the amount of material sent to landfills on a daily basis. Requirements: Since beginning production, PAC TRIM ® has constantly sought new ways to minimize our global footprint and re-use waste products. Currently, we recycle in excess of 25,000 tons of MDF dust annually. Rather than send it to landfills, it is remanufactured into composite decking, fertilizers, or used as a clean alternative to burn as fuel in place of coal and other high NOX fuels. We also recycle all of our in-house used metal strapping and any strapping we receive from other sources. 1-800-4-PACTRIM www.pactrim.com Corporate Offices 4312 Anthony Ct. All of our product is S.C.S. Certified made with a minimum 85% recovered and recycled wood fiber at least 60% of the fiber is from post-industrial recycled fiber

1) PacTrim is manufactured in four different locations throughout the US and Canada. Each facility purchases the majority of the MDF boardthey use as well as the finishing products they use from the closest manufacturer to their location. e.g. Edmonton can purchase from a mill in Whitecourt within a 100 mile distance from the plant and Clio purchased the majority of their board in less than a 50 mile radius.

2) Our wide geographic locations offer the least transportation to the end job sites for most major locations throughout North America

1) Our prime coatings are primarily water-based and low VOC (.12lb/gal and 13.95 g. per liter up to 30.2 g. per liter - LEEDS GS-11 Spec. = 50 g. per liter maximum content. PacTrim has met most of the limitations and restrictions before our product leaves the plant.

2) We can further support this on major projects by supplying a prefinshed product which only needs touch up and filling to eliminate the need to finish on site altogether. (note: minimum footage would be required to meet this requirement).

PacTrim has access to no-added formaldehyde MDF from multiple sources which can be easily supplied with in a reasonable time framefrom specification of product into the job site in most cases within 6 weeks of receiving the order for the mouldings required.

All of our product is S.C.S. Certified made with a minimum 85% recovered and recycled wood fiber at least 60% of the fiber is from post-industrial recycled fiber

Pac Trim mouldings are produced entirely from medium and light density fiberboard. An engineered wood product produced from 85%recovered and recycled wood fibre.

All of Pacific MDF Products, Inc.’s and Canadian MDF Products Company’s MDF suppliers meet this criteria. The following is a list of certificationsfor each of our suppliers:• West Fraser Mills Rangerboard and WestPine Board: (2) CSA, (5) SFI and (6) SCS• Plum Creek MDF: (3) FSC and/or (5) SFI• Sierra Pine MDF: (6) SCS and EPP• Flakeboard MDF: (6) EPP

Pac Trim mouldings are produced in North America from MDF board manufactured in North America. We have 4 locations in Canada andthe United States: Edmonton AB Canada; Rocklin, California USA; Clio, South Carolina USA; and El Dorado, Arkansas USA. By having ourfacilities spread geographically across the continent using Pac Trim mouldings would minimize the transportation impact on the environment.

Pac Trim has the ability to supply their priming process on a multitude of MDF substrate sources allowing us the flexibility to meet even themost stringent requirements demanded for any construction project.

Our board supplier’s specifications are available upon request to meet all or most of these requirements as well as their current third partycertification depending on the application required for your level of certification.
