Pick a shape, use it repeatedly, in black, gray, and white to build an illustration

I selected a shape from the Shapes options and began creating. I tried a few different shapes and settled on the TEARDROP. It is twisted, stretched, layered and outlined to present this image. I call it PURGE as a representation of release and cleanse that occurs when tears or rain fall.

Design a color flier to promote an event.Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography.Incorporate basic InDesign skills to improve basic flier layout.Retrieve image and logo from links on this page.Create a project folder with image, logo and InDesign document to keep links in InDesign intact.

Text, logo, image, and DTP were provided. Initially I was to draw four sample layouts. From those drawings, a layout was chosen. Of the images, I selected a young man smiling. I flipped and cropped the image to have his field of vision looking toward the text and repeated it. The fonts were chosen based on similarity to the logo. I added blocks of color (black and gray) to provide contrast.

Design a color flier to promote an event. Comprehend image sizing Find, scan and import a high-quality image.Create a full-bleed design.Choose a color scheme and typeface(s) that work for your message and audience.

Airsoft is a popular sport in my area so I used this information to create an event. The color scheme is based on the scanned image. The camo background is clip art. I modified the color to match the scanned image. Contrast colors of teal, orange and gray are used. Fonts are Berlin Sans FB Demi, and Bernard MT Condensed.

Create a full-bleed, photodesign project that includes:An original quality image A consistent color scheme based on that imageSome textA few design elements

The previous assignment was to take six pictures with a digital camera for the following areas: Light(inside/outside) Focus(Foreground/Background) Composition(One-third Gridlines/Lead Room.

Of the photos, I was particularly drawn to this one. It is of my father. I incorporated the Fibonacci and placed him in two/thirds of the project with the text in the other third. The color scheme is based on the colors in the hat (complementary). The text is a saying from Eleanor Roosevelt. The design elements are the corner lines.

Magical Mary FairyLogosIllustrator, InDesignJune 6, 2015COMM 130 17 Jason Stucki Design a logo for a company:Create three completely different, original logos to fit a company or personal image that will appeal to the audience. Use only the Illustrator tools to create and draw your logos.Refine one logo with variations for color

Magical Mary Fairy is my company. I am in need of a logo so I chose to do it for me. I wanted to incorporate the Fairy aspect in the logo but also emphasize the Magical Mary. I spent several days doing drawings and searching logo ideas on the web. I chose the most promising that fit what I was looking for. I used InDesign for the font design and placement, then, incorporated those ideas in the Illustrator project.

This is a fictional Association.I used InDesign and Illustrator to create my logo and design features. The front of the card is vertical with the Pole on the left and the Text at the top Right aligned and the text in the middle and bottom left aligned. I used the same pole and climber on the card as well as the shoes. The back of the card is horizontal. I am not sure if that is an issue but the text is the same with the water mark of the shoes.

Create a simple web pageSize and optimize an original logoWrite content to describe the process of creating your logo and how it appeals to a target audienceAcquire a working knowledge of HTMLAcquire a working knowledge of CSS. Identify hex colors to match logo, using Photoshop color picker.

This logo was designed to promote HOPE, COURAGE, FAITH and LOVE. This idea is a work in progress and this is one more step in the progression to a completed project.

The colors I have chosen have specific meaning. ORANGE is the ribbon color associated with blood cancers. RED is a color of power and courage. Teal is incorporated to complete the color scheme.

Magical Mary Fairy will target all individuals of every economic range, educational level, and gender that are influenced by cancer.

Design a full-color, folding brochure to help promote the company product, service or location.Set up and align a two-sided, folded document.Create an original, new logo and use it in a brochure.Incorporate at least four quality images, not including the logo. One should be clipped in Photoshop and text-wrapped in InDesign so the text follows the cutout shape of the image.Use paragraphs, headers, and subheaders.Trim for a full bleed and print in duplex (two-sided) color.

The company I selected is my neighbors pool and spa, maintenance and repair business. He had a basic idea for a logo and the name of the company, Bright Pools. I incorporated some of the ideas he suggested such as the font, colors and general idea of the logo. The images are a combination of web images and originals
