Global citizensThat is why we encourage our students, lecturers and partners to develop into open-minded global citizens – to stand firm in their own convictions and face the world. We realise that our own professional commitment makes a difference. We are creating a secure, involved environment in which these global citizens can develop and innovate. So let us share, network and practice. After all, this is how we shape and change our view of the world as well as our knowledge and skills in order to truly add value. Opportunities for co-operation Our ambition for 2020 is to ensure that all our graduates have either studied abroad, or had lessons in an international classroom. Our students and academic staff are given the opportunity to participate in exchanges, international internships, joint curriculum development and educational and research projects. We can’t achieve this on our own. Therefore, we welcome academic partners from across the globe to help us achieve our internationalisation goals.
We offer a choice of international minors, which teach a cross-section of perspectives and approaches to business, finance and marketing practice. We also work with global partners, including students and guest lecturers from around the world on these multidisciplinary courses. We offer internships and research placements to our international students.

Let’s changeThat’s what The Hague University of Applied Sciences encourages everyone to do. We want to
change and improve the world we live in. But that can only happen if we work together, evolve and
change ourselves. If we take a critical look at our present and future situation, we will see that we
need new perspectives and solutions. We will find them more quickly if we constantly share and
learn to apply one another’s insights, skills and methods.
