• Putting a rural community on the map • Regional transformation • A new industry cluster is born
The National Maple Syrup Festival is now in its 4th year. Over 5,000 visitors attended the festival in 2011 and 100% pure maple syrup from Medora, IN (pop. 600) is served at

• New high-tech training programs with over 20,000 trained • 1,851 entrepreneurs trained • 61 new K-12 STEM education programs with 10,000 students involved • More PLTW programs that any state • New K-12 entrepreneurship programs with1,536 K-12 students involved • 654 new products, services, and top-line growth ideas created • 102 business plans developed • 10 new start-up business launched • 353 jobs created or retained • $3.5 million in cost savings realized • $1.6 million in anticipated sales growth • $4 million in anticipated sales retained • 85% of projects continue today
