Email for Outlook 2011

A setup guide for Jezweb clients using IMAP settings to send and receive emails in Outlook 2011 on an Apple Mac.

Open Outlook 2011

In Outlook 2011, open the Tools menu, select Accounts

Add an Email Account

Click the button for Email Account

Account Details

Type in your email address and in the username and password

Select Type: IMAP

Select Type: IMAP

Looking up configuration

Thunderbird will test possible settings to see what will work.

Configuration Confirmation

The settings should look something like this with the servers

for example:imap.domain.comsmtp.domain.com

and IMAP selected.

Click Done to continue

Encryption Exception

When the warning about encryption

displays tick the box and click Done

Confirm Exception

Tick the box to Permanently store this exception and

click Confirm Security Exception

Local Folders Settings

Click OK

Local Folders Settings

Your new account will appear on the left

column in the inbox
