Introduction
• King Abdullah II Center for Excellence was founded in January 2006 by the Royal Decree
• National Distinctive Referential Host for all excellence awards
• His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al-Hussein is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, under which the Center is managed and supervised.

Categories of King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency
The Award is granted to one or more winners in each of the following categories:
• Best Ministry • Best Public Institution / Department• Best Accomplishment • Best Ministry / Public Institution Participating for
the First Time • Distinguished Government Employee • Any other category the Board may assign such as
the Comprehensive Distinguished Performance.
Participating in the Award
• Obligatory for all ministries and public institutions.
• Every ministry and institution should nominate one employee for each of the Distinguished Government Employee Award categories

• 60% for the Assessment Process findings.
• 15% for the Mystery Shopper findings.
• 15% for the Customer Satisfaction findings.
• 10% for Employee Satisfaction findings.
