Brenda Elliff, RN, MPA, ONC, CCM, LNCC, has nursing experience that spans 30 years. She has worked many years in orthopaedics, serving as a staff nurse and nurse manager at major teaching facilities. Additional experiences include: working in a private orthopaedics practice, experience as a surgical floor supervisor, serving as an adjunct faculty member for nursing students, nurse case manager responsibilities for a rehabilitation company, a published author on orthopaedic topics of interest and a health care coordinator role for a law firm.

Brenda is a charter member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON), having served on the national board and many of the organization’s committees. Her expertise for this practice specialty has been recognized. She frequently presents at NAON’s national, regional and local educational offerings on orthopaedic nursing, case management and legal issues. Brenda is also active with the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and the Case Management Society of America. As a legal nurse consultant, Brenda has assisted in both plaintiff and defense medical legal cases. Disclosures:
