Care and Cleaning

Keeping Sunbrella fabric looking its best is simple and easy.

» Brush or rinse off any loose dirt and debris before it has a chance to embed in the fabric

Sunbrella fabrics do not promote mildew growth, but mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances that are not removed from the fabric.

» Wipe up and clean spills right away:

• Use a sponge or soft brush to wash area with ¼ cup

mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water solution.

• For stubborn stains or mildew, a bleach solution can be

used without harming the color of the fabric. Add 1 cup

bleach per gallon of soap and water. Apply directly to

the stain and use a sponge or soft brush to clean.

• Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry; standing

cushions on their side will allow them to dry faster.

Air dry only; do not dry clean. Do not use heat, hot water, harsh detergents, hard bristle brushes, or allow your cushions to be submerged and/or lie in water.

» Use a fabric guard:

• A great way to extend the life of your cushions and

pillows is to apply a fabric guard, such as 303®, after

each thorough cleaning.

If applicable: flip your cushions periodically to even out

wear on each side.

» Store or cover cushions when not in use
