Outdoor Education Summer Camps STEAM, Boating, Outdoor Survival & Adventure Games ***REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN*** 2018 SUMMER CAMPS AT RUTHERFURD HALL located at 1686 Rt 517. Allamuchy WWW.RUTHERFURDHALL.ORG OR CALL 908-852-1894 EXT. 338 *Participants at all camps must bring a snack, water, and sunscreen/hat.* Outdoor Survival Camp July 23rd - July 27th 1:00-4:00pm Prepare for an adventure! Campers will leave all modern conveniences behind as they build an emergency shelter, learn primitive fire building skills, navigate using a compass, and learn how to handle basic first aid emergencies. The wilderness safety, outdoor preparedness, and other skills the campers will learn will leave them prepared for many adventures to come. Limit to 30 campers ~ $140 Ages 9 - 13 Boating Camp July 30 - August 3rd ~ 1:00 -4:00pm Our certified lifeguard and boating instructor will teach campers everything from basic boat safety to how to steer using different strokes, and even some rescue techniques. We will use all these skills to explore Allamuchy Pond, play games, and complete different challenges geared to expand the skills of all participants. Limited to 20 campers ~ $160 ~ Ages 9-13 Come explore, experiment, and experience the outdoors! We will explore the local wildlife and create numerous crafts from natural materials. Campers will experiment with different types of hands-on rocket projects. It will be an experience to remember as participants are challenged to question and understand our world through exciting games and activities. Limited to 30 campers ~ $ 140 ~ Ages 9-13 S.T.E.A.M. Camp (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) July 9th - July 13th 1:00pm-4:00pm Outdoor Adventure Games Camp July 16th - July 20th 1:00pm -4:00pm These aren’t your typical backyard games. Campers will be engaged in activities like Pipeline, Treacherous Transfer, Stepping Stones, Blob Tag, and many more. Participants will test their ability to think outside the box, use teamwork and strategy, while being challenged physically and mentally. Limited to 30 campers ~ $140 ~ Ages 9-13
