Shipment Insurance We recommend our comprehensive Shipper’s Insurance for your valuable or personal shipments, in the unlikely event of physical damage or loss. An insurance premium based on the value of the contents can provide even greater peace of mind.
Extended LiabilityDHL extends the standard liability service for document shipments. It provides coverage and compensation in case of loss. In the event of full or partial loss to a DHL Express document shipment, fixed compensation will be paid regardless of the replacement cost of the document. Extended Liability can be added to document shipments via Customer Service, Shipping solutions or Service Points.
Shipment Preparation We offer a convenient and on-demand service for shipment volumes that require short-term extra resources for seasonal or irregular high-volume shipments. We can manage the process of waybill preparation, content selection, labeling and paperwork, and send the parcels to the addresses provided.
Dangerous Goods For sending express shipments, we are certified in certain classes of Dangerous Goods in accordance with IATA and ADR regulations.
GoGreen GoGreen service provides environmental shipping options to reduce CO2 footprint by means of offsetting carbon neutralization, effective measurement and forecasting of CO2 emission.
Delivery Notification When you need documented proof that your shipment has been delivered, DHL Express can provide a copy of the receiver’s signature or delivery confirmation via fax or email.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE (“Terms and Conditions”)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
When ordering DHL’s services you, as “Shipper”, are agreeing, on your behalf and on behalf of anyone else with an interest in the Shipment, that the Terms and Conditions shall apply from the time that DHL accepts the Shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorised officer of DHL.
“Shipment” means all documents or parcels that travel under one waybill and which may be carried by any means DHL chooses, including air, road or any other carrier. A “waybill” shall include any label produced by DHL automated systems, waybill, or consignment note and shall incorporate these Terms and Conditions. Every Shipment is transported on a limited liability basis as provided herein. If Shipper requires greater protection, then insurance may be arranged at an additional cost. (Please see below for further information). “DHL” means any member of the DHL Express Network.
1 Customs, Exports and Imports
DHL may perform any of the following activities on Shipper’s behalf in order to provide its services to Shipper: (1) complete any documents, amend product or service codes, and pay any duties or taxes required under applicable laws and regulations, (2) act as Shipper’s forwarding agent for customs and export control purposes and as Receiver solely for the purpose of designating a customs broker to perform customs clearance and entry and (3) redirect the Shipment to Receiver’s import broker or other address upon request by any person who DHL believes in its reasonable opinion to be authorised.
2 Unacceptable Shipments
Shipper agrees that its Shipment is acceptable for transportation and is deemed unacceptable if:-
• it is classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles by IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), ADR (European Road Transport Regulation on dangerous goods), any applicable government department or other relevant organisation;
• no customs declaration is made when required by applicable customs regulations;
• it contains counterfeit goods, animals, bullion, currency, banderols/tax stickers, bearer form negotiable instruments, precious metals and stones; real or imitation firearms, parts thereof, weapons, explosives and ammunition; human remains, pornography or illegal narcotics/drugs),
• it contains any other item which DHL decides cannot be carried safely or legally, or
• its packaging is defective or inadequate.

Once your import shipment is ready, getting it to you or your clients is easy. There are 3 ways to request a pick-up with DHL:
Go online: The fastest and most secure way for your imports. Through Import Express Online you can arrange the pick-up of a shipment that is across the world, right from your own computer. Prepare all the paperwork, indicate the ready day and hour for pick-up, or even provide instructions to your vendor on how you want the shipment prepared. This keeps your account number secured giving you peace of mind.
Call Us:Call your local DHL Customer Service number 1800 285 8888 and make arrangements – We will take care of the rest for you.
Shipper Request: You can also authorize the shippers to request a pick-up at origin by calling their local DHL Express office.
