Welcome to England! Welcome to the EUROPA-PARK Historama.

Inside the pyramid at the heart of EUROPA-PARK, discover the history of Germany’s biggest theme park and the entrepreneurial Mack family. Did you know that EUROPA-PARK was originally created to showcase MACKRides? So many visitors flocked to the park that they decided to expand, so the Italianthemedareawasopenedin1982, and the European themed concept was born. The critically acclaimed stage designer and film-maker Ulrich Damrau was instrumental in the creation of the themed areas, along with the Mack family.

These days, EUROPA-PARK is one of the top ten theme parks worldwide, and MACKRides is a world leader in the creation of theme park rides. Roland Mack still manages Germany’s biggest theme park today, along with his sons and his brother Jürgen Mack.
