Originally founded in Atlanta in

1987, Auburn Dental Assisting

Program is the premiere dental

assisting program in the East

Alabama/West Georgia region.

Courses are taught, not in a

classroom, but at Auburn's most

progressive dental practice,

Auburn Dental Spa. You will

receive instruction from dental

professionals who teach and

utilize the most current methods.

Although there are a few other

programs to choose from in the

surrounding areas, why would you

want to pay $10,000 or more for

a 6-9 month program where you

will sit in the classroom for the

first 4 months? Our course puts

you in the clinic the very first day,

working with dental instruments

and equipment. Auburn Dental

Assisting Program, established

by Dr. Brad Litkenhous, utilizes an

unparalleled method of teaching

dental assisting in a rapid, but

organized manner which is easy

to master. Our training methods

have been tested and proven over

a 20 year period.

Our course is unique because

we are the only one taught in a

dental spa. You will learn state-

of-the-art methods in assisting,

Dental Radiology and customer

service skills. You will also be

exposed to the other services our

dental spa has to offer.

We are licensed bythe State of Alabama's

Department of Postsecondary Education.

ABOUT AUBURN DENTALASSISTING PROGRAM

• Textbook:"Modern Dental Assisting,” Torres & Ehrlich, 9th Edition(Bird)

• Illustrated Syllabus:"Concepts in Dental Assisting," Richard Erickson, DDS, 3rd Edition (DCI Publishing)

• All training and teaching aids, materials and dental supplies used in the clinical training

• Use of all equipment, instrumentation, specialized dental and laboratory materials

• Job Referral and placement assistance in addition to job interview training

• Customer service training

• A Certificate in Dental Assisting, Dental Assistant Pin, and a Letter of Recommendation outlining your training and experience will be awarded to all students who have attained a 70% or above grade average

• X-ray training which complies with all state regulation in dental radiology

• Real clinical experience through our unique, hands-on training program. You will be trained in all phases of general dentistry, as well as specialties

• All training is done by dental professionals in a practicing dental office, not a classroom.
