Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland promotes the wellbeing of older people by helping to make later life fulfilling and enjoyable. We are a local, independent charity which fundraises across Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland and applies these funds to help deliver services to support people over the age of 50. We are committed to maintaining the dignity, privacy and independence of older people by providing a range of relevant services, which meet the needs and wishes of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland residents. We offer a huge amount of free support for older people, their carers and families as well as services for which a competitive rate is charged. This booklet is designed to introduce you to what we offer and give you details of where you can find out more. The current Covid-19 pandemic has meant that our projects, services, shops and community centres have not all been able to operate or open as normal. Whilst we are committed to continuing to support older people, some of the services in this booklet many be temporarily closed or adapted for remote delivery. For the latest information, please contact the staff listed on each individual service.
