DoD 4150.7 and AR 200-5 Requirements for Contracts

• DoD shall use pest management contracts when cost-effective or when advantageous.

• Pest Management Consultants shall review and approve contract documents for pest management operations to ensure that appropriate pest management standards and IPM are specified.

• Installations that lack expertise in pest management should be encouraged to request the services of a DoD Pest Management Consultant to develop the technical portions of pest management contracts.

• Installation Commanders will forward contracts for pest management services to the Command Consultant for review.

• Contracts involving pest management services will meet FAR and DoD FAR requirements.

• Performance work statements will be written in ways that promote the Army Pest Management Program standards, goals and objectives.

• IPMCs will forward all contracts involving pest management services to Command Consultants for review.
