    PAD Donations. If you are interested in making your donations to our Parish through a Pre-Authorized Debit Program, please take an envelope with all the information needed. These envelopes are on the table at the entrance of the Church.

    Our New Church-Making Your Donation Really Count. Once we are clear as to how much money we will need to raise to make our new church a reality, our fund raising will begin. Please think about the information below. Similar to how the Canadian and BC governments help us to increase our regular giving, they will again partner with you to help provide these funds. Here’s how: $100 donation - your cost will be $56; $500 donation - your cost will be $280; $1,000 donation - your cost will be $ 560.00.

    Thank you! Thanks to the generous parishioners and

    with the help of one of the parishioners who matched the

    donations in the last two weeks, we were able to collect a

    total of $ 4,472.00 for our refugee family. Thank you so

    much, just for your information our monthly support for

    our refugee family to the end of October is $3,542.00

    monthly. The Parishioner who promised to match the

    donation is still happy to do so. If you are able to help it

    will be much appreciated. Our parish is sponsoring a young

    family from Eritrea, Africa. Single mother with two young

    children. They came to us last October. They are doing fine.

    They adjusted quite well in Canadian realities. Children are

    busy at school and after curriculum activities. Mother is tak-

    ing care of them, learning English, with the help of our won-

    derful volunteers, and going to school as well. She is also

    learning about a lot of small and bigger tasks which we all

    do not even need to do. They are our realities. We can all

    imagine starting a new life in a new country. How it can be

    quite difficult and complex. Our parish is obligated to help

    them to the end of October. Thanks to many people of good

    will we will be able to do it. We need financial help for this

    cause. If you are able to contribute we will greatly appreciate

    it. You can use the envelopes at the back of the church

    Bible Camp Applications – July 8 – 12th St. Andrew’s summer camp will be held at St. Joseph the Worker’s parish hall (753 Burnside Rd W). This camp runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, with one extra hour of care before and after at no extra charge. We provide T-shirts, snacks and plenty of op-portunity for activity. We will have two field trips and will be taking Wilson transportation to transport the children. Camp is faith based and opens to children from the ages of 4 to 12. The cost of the camp is $50/child.
