December Construction Activities

The exterior shell of the church will

continue during the month of

December depending on the weather.

Significant rain fall has had a small

impact on the construction schedule

but the project is only a week or so behind the planned schedule.

We should see the continuation of metal decking and possibly

some of the roofing installed soon. Exterior stud walls will begin

sometime in the next few weeks. Interior color selections have

been finalized with a selection of warm and neutral colors. The

interior colors have been carefully coordinated with the colors in

the stained glass restoration and the restoration of the Stations of

the Cross. Coordination has occurred between the pew

manufacturer and the interior committee. The hearing assistance

loop has been coordinated with the pew layout. Many other small

activities occur weekly to keep the contractor on schedule and

keep costs down.
