“The annual observance of Lent is the special season for the ascent to the holy mountain of Easter. Through its twofold theme of repentance and baptism, the season of Lent disposes both the catechumens and the faithful to celebrate the paschal mystery.
Catechumens are led to the sacraments of initiation by means of the rite of election, the scrutinies, and cate-chesis. The faithful, listening more intently to the word of God and devoting themselves to prayer, are prepared through a spirit of repentance to renew
their baptismal promises” (Ceremonial of Bishops, 249).
Stations of the Cross will be every Friday, during Lent, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. They will all be bilingual.

Jesus wants to make us whole.
Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Week of February 14, 2021
Listen to the Word (Mark 1:40-45)
As you hear this reading about a leper being cured and telling
everyone about it, what words or phrases strike you? What in this
reading touches your heart?
Look into your life
Question for children: What do you want to ask Jesus to do for
you?
Question for youth: How has Jesus touched your life? How are
you changed because of that touch?
Question for adults: Name a time when you experienced Jesus’
healing touch.
Activities for the week:
Take these activities to further reflect:
Make a coupon for each member of your family. Draw a heart
on each coupon. In the heart, draw a picture of something you
will do for them to bring Jesus' healing touch.
Jesus wants us all to be whole and healthy. What part of your
life would you like Jesus to touch and heal?
Ask your child to tell you about people he or she knows who
may feel left out. Plan with your child ways he or she can reach
out to this person. Be sure to demonstrate to your child the
love and support and confidence you have in him or her. Share
with your child his or her success in reaching out to others. Let
your child know that you are proud of him or her.
Discuss these questions with your family: Who are the outcasts
in our community? Why are they considered outcasts? What
should be a Christian's approach to them? What is our family's
response?
We can offer assistance with rent or utilities. We can also assist with medication pick up and delivery. Please give us a call or email us.

Life After Loss (Support Group)
vida?
marginados? ¿Cómo debería ser un acercamiento cristiano a
ellos? ¿Cuál es la respuesta de nuestra familia?

Not willing to let go of your marriage? Many couples continue to struggle in a
marriage, but are not willing to give up on each other. There is hope.
Retrouvaille is a program designed to help struggling marriages regain their health. It
helps a husband and a wife rediscover or re-awaken the love, trust and commitment that

divorced. Retrouvaille is a peer ministry of volunteer couples that can help you learn the
tools of healthy communication, build intimacy and heal, just as they have done in their
own marriages. For more information about our upcoming VIRTUAL Retrouvaille
