As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Fresno, we are
looking to examine how we as People of God are living and sharing the Gospel today. Our diocese is asking you to share your dreams, challenges, and lived realities through completing the SAPP survey or Siempre Adelante Pastoral Plan survey. This online survey is for everyone ages 13 and older and can be done on your computer or your smart phone. From personal experience Jim will also share on the importance in facing life hurdles that eventually lead to unwelcomed consequences if not supported through professional assistance and a strong faith walk. For Jim it was abuse by a priest while growing up in Pinole, CA. He never spoke about the abuse to anyone until this past December after an extended visit to a treatment facility. After leaving the facility, he finally opened up about the abuse to his mother, wife and children, and then to Fresno State and the community at large.
