John P Thomson John is a volunteer with the Murray Foundation who provides support for amputees and their families. John principally volunteers at the Southern General Hospital and the Victoria Infirmary, but also visits other hospitals throughout the West of Scotland. In addition, John is heavily involved in disabi l i ty issues and serves on several committees relat ingto disability matters.

Beverley Wellington Beverley is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in orthopaedics at the Victoria Infirmary,Glasgow and has worked in the NHS for nearly 30 years. Beverley has visitedMalawi twice where she set up orthopaedic nursing education as well as providing a clinical visit for a Malawi nurse in Glasgow.

James Mcdonald James is a Therapet volunteer who regularly visits the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice with his two Old English Sheepdogs called Bonny and Lacy. James is a Trustee of Canine Concern Scotland Trust, which incorporatesthe Therapet visiting scheme. He recently retired after 32 years service withthe Strathclyde Fire Service.
