Novena Prayer for an end to the Coronavirus Pandemic

O Mary, full of grace, Patroness of this nation and Mother of the Church, in

this time of illness and world-wide need, we seek your intercession for the

human family before your Son’s throne of grace and mercy. We ask for

strength in adversity, health in weakness, and comfort in sorrow. Help us, O

Blessed Mother, to be filled with confidence and trust in the tender

compassion of our God. Let us not be afraid, like our own Saint Marianne

Cope, who entrusted her life and ministry among the outcasts of society into

the care of our Divine Physician. Continue to watch over all who are sick as

well as those who care for them and give wisdom to all who are seeking a

Welcome Fr. Mulhauser It has been nearly a year and a half since we have had the joy and pleasure of celebrating Mass with

Fr. Dan. We are so excited that he will be with us for the 11:00AM Mass this weekend as he marks 70 years since first entering the Jesuits on August 17, 1951.

Save the Date: August 28/29 Parish Celebration at all Masses Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton was born on August 28th. To

mark this special day, Bishop Lucia will be celebrating all Masses that weekend. We will have opportunities after each Mass to gather, to linger, and to enjoy each other’s company. Details will follow about the food and fun we have planned as we continue this special bicentennial celebration.

Sharing The Season – The Seton Food Pantry is looking for any gardeners in the parish willing to share their home grown

Children's Liturgy (Birth-8 grade) is again at the 9:00 AM Mass. Children younger than 1st grade should be accompanied by

a parent. Children will be dismissed after the Welcome and return after the intercessions to you In the gathering space they will experience and participate in the readings, a short reflection, and be able to share their thoughts on the Gospel through question/answers. Students in grades 6-8 will also be there helping. If you would like to help facilitate this, then Safe Environment Parents should contact John Sheridan 315 427 3294 to get on the schedule.

Vocation Perspective Mary’s eventual Assumption into Heaven started with her “yes” to become the Mother of Jesus. Pope
