Who We Are Kids’ Chance of California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organizaon whose mission is to provide need-based educaonal scholarships to the children of California workers who have been fatally or seriously injured on the job. Why Kids’ Chance? According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Stascs, in California alone, there are more than 350 work-related fatalies a year — 422 in 2018. Serious accidents can have a devastang impact on families, especially children, as parents must face the hurdle of funding their children’s educaon — the key to their future and ours. With the generosity of Kids’ Chance, I was able to focus less on the financial aspect of planning for college and more on my workload as well as football.” Harrison graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounng.
