Your safety remains our priority Now, more than ever, is a great time to visit one of our community facilities and take one of the many programs and activities they offer. Our centres are open, with procedures in place to ensure your visit continues to be a fun, safe experience: Proof of vaccination is required for participation in certain programs, activities and classes. Masks must be worn when entering our facilities (for those 5 years of age and older). Adults leading, supervising or assisting with a program for children or youth must be fully vaccinated.

All staff working in any capacity in facilities will be fullyvaccinated by December 20.

The City of Richmond has been a leader in encouraging safepractices to reduce the impact of COVID-19 and was the firstmunicipality in Metro Vancouver to mandate the wearing of masks inits facilities. The City continues encourage everyone to getvaccinated and enjoy the benefits of indoor and outdoor activitypermitted under the current Public Health Orders.

Remembrance Day 2021Lest we forgetCanadians will again pay tribute to those who made the ultimatesacrifice to protect us and our way of life on Remembrance Day(Thursday, November 11). To maintain community safety, Richmondis again asking people not to gather at the cenotaph but to follow theimportant and solemn occasion online atwww.richmond.ca/remember. The schedule for the official onlineceremonies will be posted to the webpage prior to November 11. Theschedule for the official online ceremonies will be posted on the Citywebsite closer to the day.
