Along with some of the most popular cigarette brands in the country like Four Square, Red and White, Cavanders and Tipper, Godfrey Phillips India recently launched Pan Vilas pan masala which has already shown great potential. Additionally, Godfrey Phillips India also manufactures and distributes iconic brand Marlboro under a license agreement with Philip Morris. In a short span of three years, Pan Vilas has a national market share of more than 13% in the premium pan masala category. Godfrey Phillips India’s concerted efforts in Tea City brand has led to the success of Symphony and Super Cup Tea. Utsav and Samovar franchises have grown with innovative campaigns. The Company has also forayed into the highly competitive confectionary segment with Funda Goli’s of various flavors, using the extensive distribution infrastructure to have a pan India reach. Godfrey Phillips India has also spread its footprint in the international markets. Today, the International Division has developed business associations with various players in international tobacco industry to export its own cigarette brands, cut & blended tobacco, tobacco leaf and providing technical services and contract manufacturing. Many countries from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia and Latin America have been added to its portfolio. The International Division also exports Bulk and Specialty Teas to Germany, USA, Japan, UAE, Kazakhstan and Iran.
