The White model was in storage at Soundcheck Nashville at the time of the catastrophic flood in May 2010. It was restored to near-perfect condition by piano tech Sam Lewis beginning with evaluations in November 2010, and was restored from February-August 2011.The water damage came up to the middle C note, from there, there was significant humidity damage.

Baldwin Concert Grand PianoBlack finishCalled “The Layla Piano.”
Famous piano that is at the Criteria Recording Studios in Miami, FL. Has been used to record the song “Layla,” hence the nickname. Many other famous artists have used it as well.

To get the effect he wanted, he added a length of balsa to the neck of his guitar, and another to the bridge to make a Silvertone bass out of this guitar
