At Osmosis, we have specially designed unique modular ™ Rainwater Harvesting System (RWH) built

with sandwich shell. Rainwater is collected from rooftops, terraces, open grounds, gardens, roads, pavements, etc. using Storm Water Drains (SWD), pipe lines, chambers & tanks. Water collected is filtered using pebble sand beds, activated carbon & special purpose SS screens. Water is then skillfully injected into ground reaching aquifers through Bore wells & Ring wells in addition to immediate pumping and use. Thus ensuring increase in water table, revive dry bore wells, recharge aquifers and ensures better yields. It also stores rain water in monsoon season and makes it available for sunny days.

SOURCES OF RAINWATER : Collection of rainwater is easy process and we can use all the surfaces wherever we find `rainwater is running from. It is called runoff and

quantity of water available from runoff depends upon

permeability of source surfaces, intensity &

duration of rainfall, topography, and vegetation in course.

FILTER MEDIA : The layer of Filter Beds placed in

™ modular unit comprises of naturally found granular stones ranging from pebbles to fine sands. This filters raw

rainwater and considerably reduces its turbidity, non

organic impurities, colour & smell. Further activated carbon can reduce organic &

acidic contamination and improves acceptability for non - potable use.
