In the event the occupancy of the premises is taken prior to the first day of the start of this contract, the Resident agrees to pay a daily rate of $50.00 for each day of occupancy. In the event the Resident does not vacate the premises on the exact day and time outlined above, and has not signed a new contract for the subsequent term, the Resident agrees to pay a daily rate of $100.00 for each day of occupancy. In both situations, the Resident must submit a request in writing to the department of Student Housing & Residence Life for permission to occupy the space outside the dates outlined in this section. If permission is granted the rates will apply, if permission is not granted the Resident may not occupy the premises outside the dates outlined in this section.
