FROM THE PRINCIPAL Student Led Conferences Student Led Conferences have got off to a great start this year with a number of our students and parents having their conferences yesterday. It is very important for all students to have the opportunity to share their learning achievements and future goals with their parents. Parents who have missed the booking time on Compass are asked to please contact the school to arrange a conference time. Parent Opinion Survey – reminder Thank you to our parents who have already completed the annual Parent Opinion Survey. We would very much appreciate the completion of the survey for the families who have been randomly selected to participate. Please fill out the reply slip below on completion of the survey for your child to receive a small prize and to go in the draw for a raffle prize of movie tickets. Thank you to our community in anticipation of your support.

LIFE EDUCATION
Osborne Primary School is very proud to announce the return of Harold and the Life Education van to
our school as part of our Health and Wellbeing program on Monday the 19th of August.
It’s an exciting time for students and your child may attend sessions that focus on issues around food
and nutrition, personal safety, physical activity, cyber safety, safety with medicine and legal drugs;
tobacco, alcohol and caffeine; depending on their year level. They also help children to develop
relationship skills, positive communication (both face to face and online), problem solving and decision
making skills which links well to our Play is the Way programme.
Parents are invited to visit the Life Education van on Monday, the 19th of August, from 3.15pm to
3.30pm to see inside and hear more information about the program.
Life Education has been empowering children and young people to make safer and healthier choices
through education for more than 35 years. We believe that each child should be living to their full
potential. http://www.lifeeducation.org.au
