ORAU is proud to have managed ORISE for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) since it was established in 1992. Over the past 25 years, we have strived to continuously improve our operations with a singular purpose… providing exemplary support to DOE as it advances its mission. Unlike many of DOE’s national laboratories, the work that ORISE performs is not typically in the media spotlight. Our role in supporting DOE is oſten carried out quietly behind the scenes with strong, consistent support that can always be trusted. Several years ago, my colleagues documented some of our accomplishments in an impact report entitled, “Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education – Delivering Agile Mission Solutions for DOE to Strengthen and Secure America.” is report provides a point-in-time snapshot of ORISE contributions to DOE, the nation and beyond. I believe it provides an insightful look at what we do, so I have made it available on our website so more people can learn about ORISE. It is truly my privilege to lead ORISE into the next phase of its history, and I am committed to reporting our accomplishments along the way. Sincerely, Dr. William J.

Our role in supporting DOE is often carried out quietly behind the scenes with strong, consistent support that can always be trusted.

Several years ago, my colleagues documented some of our accomplishments in an impact report entitled, “Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education – Delivering Agile Mission Solutions for DOE to Strengthen and Secure America.” This report provides a point-in-time snapshot of ORISE contributions to DOE, the nation and beyond. I believe it provides an insightful look at what we do, so I have made it available on our website so more people can learn about ORISE.

It is truly my privilege to lead ORISE into the next phase of its history, and I am committed to reporting our accomplishments along the way.

Sincerely,

Dr. William J. (Jim) VosburgDirectorOak Ridge Institute for Science and Education
