WHAT IS JAM? JAM'S FOUNDATIONWHAT DOES JAM DO?
JAM (Jesus And Me) is the middle school religious education
program at St. Benedict. By sharing theteachings of the Catholic Church anddiscussing moral issues, our youth
grow in relationship with one another and with Jesus Christ. JAM challenges
our middle school youth to live out their faith in everyday life.

The Person of Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church, Sacraments,
Discipleship, Scripture,Prayer/Spirituality
Life Issues
Morality, Social Justice, Stress/Anxiety, Peer Pressure,
Social Media, Relationships
To relay biblical and doctrinal truths to our youth.
To promote a lifestyle of
moral and theological virtues.
To actively serve the community on behalf of the Catholic Church.
To encourage others to share
their gifts, talents, joys, and struggles.
To instill the importance of personal prayer and spirituality.
To promote the greatness of
Christ over adult leaders and ministries.
JAM Sessions Our JAM sessions are on Tuesday
evenings from 6:00-7:15pm at St. JohnBosco Catholic School. A session
includes snacks, games/icebreakers, teachings, small group discussions,
and prayer experiences.
Jr. High Service Camp JAM partners with Catholic Charities to
host a week-long summer camp allowingour youth to serve the community. Some
focus groups we have helped includeveterans, low-income families, refugees,
and children with academic needs.
Service To put our faith into action, JAM teens
and leaders volunteer at monthly serviceevents. These events allow teens to growin faith, charity, service, and love for our
brothers and sisters in Christ.
