SERO 400 FAMILY Leading-edge periscope system The SERO 400 series represents the most successful periscope system since more than a decade. By intro- ducing the SERO 420 with its new sensor unit, containing cameras of the latest technology, the SERO 400 family is proving to be the leading-edge periscope system. Moreover, the direct vision optics pro- vides the experienced operator with unparalleled detail recognition, espe- cially with regard to color fidelity and the recognition of colored position lights. The binocular eyepiece enables the observer to gain a realistic spatial impression of the environment above the water’s surface while the ergono- mic design provides an easy, reliable and fatigue-proof operation. The SERO 400 family can be fully in- tegrated into the submarine’s combat system enabling full remote control and use of auto-modes.
