• Degree and non-degree • Diploma will say "Instructional Technology"• SLM is your Emphasis Area• M.Ed: 36 hours min.• Ed.S.: 30 hours min. (for certification |

Team Work

Few, if any, tests! Group projects,for the most part• Ability to teamwork is an essential competency • Professional life is now heavily team-oriented• Collaboration is essential between school

librarians and teachers• We understand that working in teams may not be a

preference for all learnersad of time• You can begin forming teams now• Size: two or three• Teams can be permanent or fluid

DeliveryFlexible - doesn't quite fit what we've evolved intoOnline - well-known problems with 100% online Hybrid - more accurate descriptor for us• Optimal mix of f2f, online, summer study, and

independent work - between and within courses• Professor adjusts to suit• Conscious of your time, schedule, responsibilities, and

commuting challenges (including weather and price of gas)

• Online provides relief from commuting• F2f provides social cohesion and opportunity to discuss

with peers• Online professor visits f2f class occasionally

semester begins - not after registration
