INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN CLASS
All student ids have been created on
Indira National School domain. You will
need to login as follows –

INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN CLASS
Students will receive an invite mail
one or two days before the session on
their INSP email ids only.
The same link to be used for next 90
days for joining the online class.
INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN CLASS
Once you receive this mail, the students need to
do the following –
JOIN the classroom (only once ).
Click on the Google Meet URL to enter the live
classroom on the date of the schedule.
Important: If students do not click on JOIN to
get added into the classroom, they will not
receive any further link or messages regarding
the Online classes. Hence this is a mandatory
step.
Mails with the new Google Meet URLs will
be sent to student INSP mail ids. Students
will need to click on the given Hangout Meet
URL as in the screenshot below.

Before joining the Meet URL, all students
should -
DISABLE MICROPHONE
(Click on the mic icon to mute)
DISABLE CAMERA
(Click on the camera icon to switch it off)
Important points
No student should enable camera during the class
unless the teacher asks the students to do so.
No student should UNMUTE till the teacher asks the
students to unmute.
Parents and Students please understand that
Unmuting / Chatting constantly in the chat box
disturbs the Class as well as the teacher. Let us
please refrain from doing so.
Important points
Click on the People icon
In the list of invitees, you will see the name of
the Class being conducted/presented.
E.g., Std1.teachers for Online classes Presenting
Click on the Soft board Pin Icon to see the
presenter/Teacher’s screen.
Do not enter the chat room till the teacher is
done with the teaching. If the teacher instructs,
only then you can ask doubts or raise queries in
the chat room.
Important points
Students may observe issues like Video/Audio
hangs or goes slow in between. This may be due
to the teacher or student's bandwidth issue.
These issues may occur on and off. In such cases
you are requested to logout and rejoin.
The recording of the Class/Session will be posted
on the Google Classroom Stream for students to
view in case of bandwidth issue and for reference
at a later stage.

Incase of two children how to attend the
classes at the same time?
You can use different devices-mobile,
laptop, desktop etc.
In case of one device , one child can view
the live session the other one can see
the recording later.

Where can I get all subject Textbooks?
You need to procure the books from the bookstore.
The PDF copy of the notes will be shared through the Google classroom only.
The e-book mobile links will also be shared with the students.(accessible through Mozilla Firefox only)
Assignment / Notes
If students are not receiving the assignments through mail, then it means that they have not JOINED the Classroom using the Class Code sent through mail.
Follow the instructions sent through mail to join the classrooms.
In case of any queries, regarding the online teaching,

SCHOOL ALMANAC
School almanac is the most effective mode of
communication for the parents.
We request you to go through it and fill the
required information asked by the class teacher.
Paste your and your ward’s photo in the almanac.
All other information is outlined in the
almanac, which will be made available to your
ward once the school begins.
Please acknowledge the given note by signing in
the almanac regularly.

LATE COMING
We request the parents to send their ward on time to school. If the child comes after 8.00 a.m., he/she will be
marked late.
In case you reach the school late, do not leave the child near the gate and move immediately, the school will not be responsible for any mishaps.

Academic Time lines
NOTE:
Portion and time-table will be sent on the student’s mail ID from exam department.
The portion for SEA will be the topics covered till date in the class.
A week will be decided for SEA and the same will be intimated to you.
Co-scholastic subjects will be assessed during half yearly and annual exams only.
No re-exam will be conducted. Please avoid absenteeism.
If the child remains absent, he/she will be marked “Absent” in the report card .
EXTERNAL EXAMINATIONS
We give exposure to various competitive exams like SOF
OLYMPIAD, HINDI OLYMPIAD, MaRRS, I-QUBE,
TAEKWONDO BELT EXAM ETC.
Parents are expected to prepare their ward for these
exams.
No extra coaching is given by the teachers.
CCA ACTIVITIES
(Co-curricular activities)
• CCA WILL BE CONDUCTED REGULARLY. • VARIOUS SKILL BASED ACTIVITIES AND
COMPETITIONS WILL BE HELD DURING SCHOOL HOURS.
• A PRIOR NOTE WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE MATERIALS TO BE

SAFETY AND SECURITY MEASURES
At INS Parandwadi, it is mandatory to sign the register at the entrance gate when visiting the school.
Main Entrance is closed during the school hours to prevent entry of outsiders.
School premises is under CCTV surveillance
which are monitored regularly.

Fire Extinguishers are placed in the
corridors near the classrooms.
We ensure safe movement of children from
bus to classrooms at arrival and dispersal
time.
Teachers accompany the children till the
school bus at the time of dispersal.
PATH TO SUCCESS
School has

They are oriented about

at the beginning of the
academic year and are
motivated to achieve

ATTENDANCE
We expect the children to have 85% attendance, so we request the parents to encourage the child to attain it. Children at INSP are awarded 100% attendance award. It motivates them to be regular to school. It also infuses the habit of regularity among the students.
ABSENTEEISM
If the child is absent due to medical
reason, a medical certificate mentioning the
nature of complain and stating “fit to join
the school” by the registered medical
practitioner to be submitted to the class
teacher.
The parents are requested to collect the
notes/work done during absenteeism from
the class teacher with prior appointment.
MONTHLY PTM Parents can interact with the teachers on 4th
Saturday .
Timings will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Other than 4th Saturday, if the parents want to
meet the teachers, they can meet the teacher with
prior appointment after 2:00 p.m. only.
For any PTM or visit to school your ward should be
in complete school uniform only.
DISCIPLINE
• Attending the examinations – If your ward does not attend any paper during the exam ,he/she will be marked absent.
• Timely submission of books & assignments need to be taken care of.
• Regular signing of the calendar.
• Parents teacher communication page in the calendar should be checked regularly .

EXPECTATIONS FROM PARENTS
The child is expected to come in proper
uniform, short hair, sweatshirts ,white
Hairband, shoes and socks, trimmed nails
regularly.
Fancy hairband, sweatshirts, floaters and
socks are not allowed.
Record sheets are given in the calendar where teachers
mark once in a week if the student does not follow the
instructions mentioned in the diary .
For PTM –your ward should come in school uniform.
Seating arrangement in the classrooms are done on rotation
basis. Parents are requested to co-operate for the same.
No early exit will be permitted during the exams.
If your ward is sick please refrain from sending him/her to
school to avoid inconvenience to other students.
If you have any concerns relating to class or school, you can meet
teachers on every 4th Saturday or after 2:00 PM during working days.
