raise funds for constructing a Farmer’s Market @

Attur, Hoskote Taluk.

• The First edition of ACRE RUN is scheduled on

Sunday, March 8th 2020.

• 10K+ runners are expected to participate, to support

the construction of the 1st organized Farmer’s

Market @ Hoskote Taluk.

• Route will be countryside along the villages, flanked

by villagers of Hoskote Taluk

Collaborate with researchers and knowledge hubs such as NIFA(National

Institute of Food & Agriculture) /RCOF(Regional Center of Organic Farming) to

educate the farmers on organic farming.

Soil testing to ensure no contamination and to check the extent of fertilizer

used on land is limited- Enabling farm lands with a soil health card .

Target to Restore 165 lakes started project on Aug 2019 Currently working on

Sasalu village lake.

Vegetation improves the natural processes of different indicators for sustainability

such as: improving air quality, water resources and soil. Hence OUR MISSION IS

TO PLANT MORE THAN 1 MILLION TREES.

60% of Bangalore rural (Hoskote) is full of Eucalyptus trees. A eucalyptus tree consumes

90 liters of water a day. During summers and times of drought, its roots can go down up to

30ft in search of water.

Farmers have been traditionally selling their produce

through the middlemen & traders. This has lead to

low pricing sale of agricultural products to the middle

man who intern make most of the profit.

ACRE is looking at creating an sustainable avenue

for the the Farmer’s wherein they can sell their

produce directly to the consumer hence ensuring

them a fair share of income.

restore the Sasalu village lake with the

help of Villagers and local Govt. We have

cleaned up the lake and channels with

the help of JCB’s. Awaiting for the good

monsoon to fill the lake.

School Program:

ACRE Foundation has started to collaborate

with schools and Kids in Hoskote taluk to

plant trees.

One of the initiative was to Plant trees @

Doddanallurahalli primary school involving

school kids and naming the tree after each

child, will bring in ownership and

responsibility on child to take care of the

growing tree

Our outreach is to involve 300+ schools

and 15000+ kids to participate in this

venture.
