BackgroundIECL provides the Australasian region’s most highly respected and rigorous training in Organisational Coaching. The three level program is accredited as an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) and attracts high calibre individuals wanting either to learn to coach, formalise their current coaching skills, better understand the complexities of coaching in organisations, or simply change their management style to more of a “coaching approach”. The training is offered in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Wellington, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai by the IECL’s faculty of highly experienced organisational coaches and facilitators.

About IECLIECL has been in operation since 1999 and has trained over 6,000 professionals in executive coaching skills in our coach accreditation program. In addition, thousands of managers and senior executives within organisations in Australasia have been coached by us and/or have attended our corporate programs to develop an internal coaching culture. IECL’s coach training is overseen by Head of Education, Jane Porter, MCC and conducted by IECL’s experienced faculty of coaches and facilitators.

Jane is Head of Coaching and Coaching Accreditation and a master coach and facilitator. She has been involved in coach education since 2007 with a focus on program development, mentoring, supervision and assessment. As a practicing coach she has coached individuals, groups and teams across Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Mongolia, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Germany. She has over 4000 hours of one on one and group Executive Coaching experience plus several thousand hours of Leadership facilitation.

Program detailsThe emphasis at each level is on interaction and practice. Participants apply the techniques throughout the three days and in the ongoing co-coaching practice sessions with their peers.

Each level of the Coach Accreditation Program comprises:

• Online preparation in a social learning community.

• A three day intensive experiential workshop.

• Follow-on learning activities online, including coaching practice in small groups.

• A written reflective learning task (plus mentor coaching and an exam at Level 3).

• Ongoing participation in the IECL’s online Alumni Community of Practice, online and at Continuous Professional Development events.

At IECL we are responding to the CoVid-19 situation in many ways, and we’re excited to confirm that we will be offering our coach training programs live via Zoom as of April, 2020 until further notice. This type of live and fully synchronous delivery is fully approved by the ICF as the whole world pivots to new ways of working and learning together.

Virtual Training in 2020

The Zoom technology is free for you to receive the course (video and audio) as long as you have a decent internet connection. Zoom also allows:

• You to put your hand up at any time with questions

• You to see the faces of your learning peers, wherever they are joining from

• Breakout rooms (for your coaching practice sessions) that our faculty can “pop into” to review your practice and provide feedback

• Polls (so we can see how you’re going, check understanding etc)

• A virtual “whiteboard” so we can share ideas,

• And many more features that will help to enliven your learning experience.

To participate in the virtual coach training program, you will need:

• A private space to learn and do your coaching practice, (we’ll stop regularly for breaks, including stretch breaks)

• A laptop or desktop computer connected to the internet

• A camera on your device and either bluetooth headset or sound on your computer (i.e. in built speakers)

We drew on years of training experience and some creative new ideas to find innovative ways to deliver these courses virtually while ensuring the same strong learning outcomes for all participants. We look forward to welcoming you our coach training, live on Zoom.

Note that all dates on our website remain the same and will be conducted in the timezone of the city for which they were originally scheduled. You can easily participate from anywhere on the planet, as long as that timezone will work for you.

Developing the RelationshipResearch shows that in the “helping professions” (including coaching) the relationship that the practitioner develops is key to the success of the intervention. Between Each Level of TrainingAfter completing Level 1 we recommend that you complete approximately 25 hours of coaching before participating in Level 2. This can be paid or unpaid, in your workplace or external. The main thing is to put what you have learned in Level 1 into practice before moving on to learn more. After Level 2 and before Level 3 we recommend you get approximately 50 hours of coaching practice. Note that most people take at least 12-18 months to complete the three levels of training.

+_ What is NPS®?

The NPS® is a customer loyalty metric originallyformulated by Fred Reichheld, Bain & Company andSatmetrix in 2003. It segments customers into threetypes based on a 0 to 10 scale of how likely they are torecommend the product or service:

• Passives who respond with scores of 7-8;

• Detractors who respond with scores of 0-6; and

• Promoters who respond with scores of 9-10.

With the NPS®, organisations can gauge the health of their client/customer/student experience programs, and in turn work to improve said programs.

What is considered a good NPS®?

Given the NPS® range of -100 to +100, a “positive” score or NPS® above 0 is considered “good”,

+50 is “Excellent,” and +70 is considered “world class.”Based on global NPS® standards, any score

above 0 would be considered “good”.

How to calculate NPS®?
