Crook County 4-H Clover
Todd Catterson was nominated for Volunteer of the month because he is “A great leader and I appreciate him.” Todd has been involved in 4-H off and on since he was a kid. He was involved in 4-H for 8 years raising pigs as a youth and involved again when his son Cade started raising 4-H pigs as a 4th grader. He also helps his kids (Cade, Megan, and Macy) with their show pig business called “Triple C Show Pigs”. They have 5 sows and they sell show pigs to families all along the West Coast. Three years ago, Todd and his friend Craig Ostrander, became 4-H leaders and started a club called ‘Country Roots Swine
Club’. He believes “the life lessons that youth learn through 4-H make youth better citizens, leaders, and communicators.”
Thank you Todd for your great leadership!

Announcements
Open your home to an exchange delegate and open your lives to the world! Families will have an opportunity to experience Japan by hosting an exchange delegate ages 12-13 for four weeks this summer. The delegates will visit the United States as part of a 4-H exchange program. You don’t need to be currently involved with 4-H to host. The program is open to families who have a child close in age to the Japanese youth. Each Japanese visitor will be matched with a host family based on the host sibling’s gender, age, and interests. There are also opportunities to host adult chaperones for two weeks. Families who host chaperones are not required to have children in the
home. Click HERE or Contact Lindsay at [email protected] or
