Taking A Rubbing

• White paper with black wax block (or large crayon) best choice

• Thick paper like grocery sacks are too thick to get a proper rub

• Butcher paper with wax side works well with moist stones

• Please avoid using pencil, chalk or anything that could rub off

Lay your paper over the entire memorial.

Begin by marking all four edges.
