MORNING WORSHIP
Prelude Music ‘He Lives’ Mr Len Ryan
Welcome Mr Daniel Davison
Congregational Singing “Christ the Lord is Risen Today” EASTER HYMN
Christ the Lord is ris’n today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say: Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav’ns, and earth reply: Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once He all doth save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!
Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids Him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened Paradise, Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Foll’wing our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia! CHARLES WESLEY

Organ Praise Mr Len Ryan
Prayer
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!
Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:
‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners,
be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” (Luke 24:5b—7 NIV)

Congregational Singing “He is Lord”
He is Lord, He is Lord.
He is risen from the dead and He is Lord.
Every knee shall bow,
Every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord.

“Our God Reigns”
Refrain:
Our God reigns! Our God reigns!
Our God reigns! Our God reigns!
How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him
Who brings good news, good news
Announcing peace, proclaiming news of happiness.
Our God reigns, Our God reigns!
He had no stately form, He had no majesty,
That we should be drawn to Him.
He was despised and we took no account of Him,
Yet now He reigns with the Most High.
Out from the tomb He came with grace and majesty,
He is alive, He’s alive.
God loves us so, see here His hands, His feet, His side,
Yes, we know, He is alive. LEONARD E SMITH

“Crown Him with Many Crowns”
Crown Him with many crowns,
The Lamb upon His throne:
Hark! how the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own!
Awake, my soul, and sing
Of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King
Thru all eternity.
4
Crown Him the Lord of love:
Behold His hands and side—
Rich wounds, yet visible above,
In beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends his wond’ring eye
At mysteries so bright.
Crown Him the Lord of life:
Who triumphed o’er the grave,
Who rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save:
His glories now we sing,
Who died and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring
And lives that death may die. MATTHEW BRIDGES & GODFREY THRING

Prayer Rev Richard Kingham
“I Will Glory in My Redeemer”
I will glory in my Redeemer,
Whose priceless blood has ransomed me.
Mine was the sin that drove the bitter nails,
And hung Him on that judgment tree.
I will glory in my Redeemer,
Who crushed the power of sin and death.
My only Saviour before the holy Judge:
The Lamb Who is my righteousness,
The Lamb Who is my righteousness.
I will glory in my Redeemer.
My life He bought, my love He owns.
I have no longings for another,
I’m satisfied in Him alone.
I will glory in my Redeemer,
His faithfulness, my standing place.
Though foes are mighty and rush upon me,
My feet are firm, held by His grace,
My feet are firm, held by His grace.
5
I will glory in my Redeemer,
Who carries me on eagle’s wings.
He crowns my life with loving kindness,
His triumph song I’ll ever sing.
I will glory in my Redeemer,
Who waits for me at gates of gold,
And when He calls me, it will be paradise,
His face forever to behold,
His face forever to behold. STEVE AND VIKKI COOK

Congregational Singing “Low in the Grave He Lay” MACCABAEUS
Low in the grave He lay,
Jesus, my Saviour;
Waiting the coming day,
Jesus, my Lord.
Refrain:
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives for ever with His saints to reign:
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Vainly they watch His bed,
Jesus, my Saviour;
Vainly they seal the dead,
Jesus, my Lord.
Death cannot keep his prey,
Jesus, my Saviour;
He tore the bars away,
Jesus, my Lord. ROBERT LOWRY

Congregational Singing “Thine Be the Glory” MACCABAEUS
Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son,
Endless is the victory Thou o’er death has won;
Angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
Kept the folded grave-clothes, where Thy body lay.
Refrain:
Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son,
Endless is the victory Thou o’er death has won.
Lo! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb;
Lovingly He greets us, scatters fear and gloom;
Let His Church with gladness hymns of triumph sing,
For her Lord now liveth; death has lost its sting.
No more we doubt Thee, glorious Prince of life;
Life is nought without Thee: aid us in our strife;
Make us more than conquerors, through Thy deathless
love:
Bring us safe through Jordan to Thy home above. EDMOND BUDRY
