Order of Operation
There is an order to follow when answering problems with two or more operations. The order is called PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction)
o The key in answering operations is to be organize. Tackle each step one at a time to avoid confusion.

20+12−(8+6−2×1 )÷6

First is to answer the operation in the parentheses which is 5x2.
Second is to tackle the number with exponents which is 102
Third is to follow the right order. Multiply first then divide then add and
lastly subtract.
The final answer is 70
Note that first thing you need to solve is in parenthesis. Once solving the operation in the parenthesis, be aware that it also needs to be
solve in order or EMDAS
