2007-4 December 4, 2007 Amends Ordinance No. 2005-1 (the EMS tax) to rename the tax

to the Local Services Tax, continuing the annual rate at $25.00,

and increasing the earnings limit for exemption from $1000 to

$12000 per calendar year if exemption certificate is given.

2007-3 December 4, 2007 Adopts the International Property Maintenance Code, 2006 Edition,

as the township property maintenance code to establish minimum

regulations for the maintenance of property, buildings, and

structures.

2007-2 August 7, 2007 Enacts a realty transfer tax and other related provisions pursuant

to Article XI=D of the Tax Reform Code of 1971, and authorizing

the Dept. of Revenue of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to

determine, collect and enforce the tax, interest and penalties,

and repealing the prior realty tax Ordinance No. 67-3.

2007-1 June 5, 2007 Amends Ordinance No. 2001-2 - the Hempfield Township

Zoning Ordinance - by amending Ordinance No. 2003-3, to

increase dwelling units from eight to twenty-five. Also,

additional conditions to be added including sewer, water, parking.

2006-1 March 7, 2006 Approves an intergovernmental cooperation agreement for multi-

municipal planning by and between Greenville Borough and

Hempfield Township.

2005-4 October 4, 2005 Requires a certificate of compliance from the Township prior

to the sale, conveyance, assignment, transfer, or acquisition

of any land on which a building is erected and connected to

the municipal sanitary sewer system.

2005-2 April 5, 2005 Provides that in certain fire losses the insurer having a policy

with respect to such loss shall transfer insurance proceeds to the

Treasurer of the Township of Hempfield to be used to pay

deliquent taxes and other municipal claims or be held as

security and used to pay the total cost of removing, repairing

or securing the damaged building and providing for fees; setting

forth related procedures to implement said act; and providing

for penalties for violation.

2005-1 January 3, 2005 Amends Ordinance No. 69-11, The Occupational Privilege Tax,

to rename the tax to the Emergency and Municipal Services

Tax and setting the annual amount at twenty-five ($25.00) dollars.

2004-2 February 3, 2004 Establishes minimum regulations for governing the design,

construction, alteration, enlargement, repairs, removal, demolition,

and use of all buildings and structures in the Township and

authorizes a code administrator, providing for the issuance of

permits; collection fees; conducting inspections, performing plan

review; and providing for the violation thereof, and known as the

Uniform Construction Code of the Township of Hempfield,

Mercer County, PA.

2004-1 January 5, 2004 Amends Ordinance No. 75-3 (which implemented the PA. Sewage

Facilities Act) to revise the fee charged for applications for on-lot

sewage permits to $250.

2003-3 July 1, 2003 Amends Ordinance No. 2001-2 - the Hempfield Township Zoning

Ordinance - to permit government subsidized or funded senior

apartments in the R-3 and B - Mixed Use zoning districts as a

conditional use.

Curative Amendment - to permit mineral excavation only as a

special exception in rural residential and agricultural (R-1) and

industrial (I) zoning districts; to permit forestry as a separate

permitted use in all zoning districts; to provide minimum lot

sizes for on-lot sewer and/or water in R-3 zone and for multi-

family dwellings; to add no-impact home-based businesses

as a permitted use in R-1, R-2, R-3 and B zoning districts; to

change reference to cellular towers to be wireless communications

towers; to regulate parking, and occupancy use of major

recreational equipment and non-agricultural commercial

vehicles; to add kennel as a permitted use in R-1, C, and I zoning

setback; and to amend tables to conform to all amendments.
