In addition to providing copies of your transcripts, English Language certificate and two references, you should also provide a 250 word Statement of Purpose outlining your reasons for applying for the programme of study.

Applications must be received at the University of Glasgow by 31 March 2008.

Decisions on the award of scholarships will be made by an Advisory Board and successful applicants informed of the decision by 30 June 2008 at the latest.

The Orascom Telecom ScholarshipsThe Orascom Telecom Scholarships offer top quality Egyptian students the opportunity to study on a one-year Masters degree at the University of Glasgow in the area of Business and Management. Six scholarships will be awarded to students applying for study in 2008-9. The scholarship will cover the cost of the University tuition fees and provide living expenses.

The Business SchoolBusiness Schools, like other organisations, need to move with the times. Management education began in the University of Glasgow in the 1950s, initially on a part time basis for practising managers in the local community. The Business School now trains over 1700 students each year at Undergraduate, Masters and Postgraduate Research level.

2. Scholars must be Egyptian nationals.
