ORANGUTANS Apes are mammals and they have Orange hair. An Ape is a furry animal, it is huge and has orange hair. Apes like to eat a lot! They eat bananas, jackfruit, ants, crickets, honey, mangosteen, plum and rambutan. They use tools as a sticks. They are endangered and we need to look after the forest. Orangutans can live up to 40 years old in the wild and in the zoo they can live up to 55 to 60 years old. In Sumatra and Borneo there are rain forest and trees, you can find apes here. By Larissa
