Oracle’s Intention to Represent Database as a Service As now Oracle Enterprise Manager is set to run on private cloud, there is another update which allows the organizations to offer readymade database as service Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c release 4 is the first ever which offers enterprise databases as a service with great benefits. "We want our customers to consume their databases in an agile environment." said Dan Koloski, senior director of product management for the Oracle Enterprise Manager. This new update also provides many advantages with its advance features in middle management and controlling access. Manager 12C’s aim is to manage big deployments of both hardware & software from Oracle and vendor. Oracle provided built in tool in the version of 2011 by which one can establish measure, manage and optimize the cloud personally. With the software’s API support organization units can make the provisions for database, middleware and infrastructure with ease. With this new update, there is an improvement in the deployment process of the Oracle 12C database via enterprise manager. This software is also able to resolve the problems and potential issues. Software comes along with rapid starter kit, by which one can set up database services very easily. Oracle can also provide the basic knowledge with various ways for setup. It comes along with updated overview of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c, which is the newest version of Oracle's enterprise software made to support java applications. That updated version has the capability to diagnose issues within JVM. There are many other features too in Enterprise Manager 12c version 4 which make the organizations able to provide excellent database services . It can identify roles and access rights given to the users, allows great access control. Security and safety will be managed by a single console only. It is the 1 st version that supports 3 rd version of the SNMP, which is the protocol to manage devices connected with network.
