Full-to-the-Floor Base A full-to-the-floor base is standard on most lecterns and is never an extra charge.

Recessed Base as option A recessed base is available on most lectern styles that don’t come with one standard. When ordered as an option, there is an extra charge.

Rotating BaseA rotating base allows any lectern style to turn 180°. This base is used by courts, city counsels, and law schools to allow a quick change of audience. The design allows the lectern to turn without damaging wiring. A simple release mechanism controls the movement. The turning mechanism is completely hidden. Also see the Rotating Top on page 13.

Flat Top The flat top is a no-charge option. It includes a back wall for connection panels, control panels and AC outlets.

Split TopUse the split top option to provide a reading and touch-screen area plus a flat surface for laptops. The size of the two areas is customizable. Monitor mounts for both areas are on page 15.

Wedge Top The wedge top option includes a partial back wall that helps maximize your flat workspace. A wedge can be made for your control panel, interface or monitor.

Slant Top The slant top is a no-charge option. It makes papers easier to read and can be used to build in touch panels and connection panels.

Roll TopWe can add a solid hardwood roll top to most lecterns and mixing consoles. Pricing depends on size and wood species.

Rotating Top Courtrooms and city council chambers often request a lectern top that can turn up to 180°. A release pin and positive stop make the change easy and the stop prevents cables from twisting. The top can be either flat or slanted.

The entire work surface of any lectern or workstation can be made to pull out over the lap of a person in a wheelchair. Equipment mounted in the back wall rolls out with it.

NS-WS Notched Sides Notched sides give easier access to drop leaves, side tables, and document camera drawers.

CS-WS Shaped Sides The sides of lecterns above the work surface can be shaped into curves or arches. Most lectern styles can have shaped sides.

FS-WS Flush Sides The sides of lecterns can be made flush to extend the work surface using an optional drop leaf shelf.

There is no charge to laminate any lectern, workstation, credenza, desk, or table work surface using our standard laminates. We recommend laminate surfaces for any application getting constant use and exposure to liquids (coffee, etc.). Other laminates are available, some at an extra charge, some at no charge. Our designers can help you choose. We offer any commercially available laminate by Wilsonart, Formica, Nevamar, or Pionite.

Brush Grommet Brush grommets are a more versatile way to bring cables to the work surface, allowing components to be repositioned as desired.

AC-USB AC Outlet w/two USB Ports, includes Surge Protector.This AC Outlet has two USB ports as well as two 120v grounded outlets.

Cable-C Compact Cable Reservoir, includes Surge Protector.

Our Compact Cable Reservoir has two AC outlets in the bottom and two large grommets on either side to allow greater cable capacity in a small space.

Cable-M Medium Cable Reservoir, includes Surge Protector.

Two AC outlets and two USB ports connect to a 6-outlet surge protector with a 6 ft. cord. There is one large oval grommet and three small grommets with cord retainers. Install in the back wall or on the flat work surface.

Cable-S Small Cable Reservoir, includes Surge Protector.

Our small reservoirs have a large grommet in the bottom of the well. They are usually paired with the AC-USB Outlet. There is a $100 discount on the AC-USB Outlet if

you order a small reservoir at the same time.

The AC Outlets are wired to a 6-outlet Surge Protector that is included when you order outlets.

MCT-PD Clock TimerMCL Digital Clock, no timer (not shown) This clock timer is simple to use. Instructions are right on the face. Powered display is clear in any light. A battery backup maintains correct time when the lectern is unplugged.

M-POP Pop Up Monitor Mount Most LCD monitors can be mounted on our gas-shock frame that allows the monitor to lay flat or pop up. This mount is very effective with touch screens plus the security of a VESA mount can be increased with security cables.

M-FRMDA monitor can be mounted in the audience side of a lectern or desk for digital signage. Fixed or swing out mounts available.

M-MON-L Open LCD Monitor Mount This is a simple mount that ensures compatibility with a wide range of monitors. The well is 3” deep and open in the back for cabling.

M-LCD Recessed Open LCD Monitor Mount An enclosed well is constructed and the monitor is mounted on a VESA mount.

MEMR-24 Electric Monitor Rotator This mechanism rotates a monitor in a table or desk at the touch of a button. The movement is quiet, sturdy, and reliable. For monitors up to 24” diagonally.

M-LCD-PG Recessed Monitor w/PlexiglassM-LCD-TG Recessed Mon w/Tempered Glass An enclosed well is made and the monitor is mounted on a VESA mount. A plexiglass or tempered glass cover is installed to protect the monitor.

M-RVM Recessed VESA Monitor Mount The most economical mount is just a fixed VESA mount on the back wall with a notch in the work surface. The monitor is out of sight to the audience and the notch allows the speaker to see the entire screen.

M-LCD-SP Security Cover w/PlexiglassM-LCD-SG Security Cover w/Tempered GlassAn enclosed well with the monitor mounted on a VESA mount. A locking frame is installed to protect the monitor.

MMI Monitor Mount Install We supply and install Ergotron articulated mounts or we will install mounts sent to us.

SYM-24 Touch Panel MountThis mount accommodates the adjustable angle mechanism on large touch screen monitors. When the monitor is at its lowest position, it is flush with the work surface. It can also be installed in slant or flat top lecterns. Mount is not included in split top cost.

M-KS Fixed Height Pullout Keyboard Shelf Single shelves are framed with solid wood to make sure they will stand up to major abuse. The drawer slides have a detent when fully extended that keeps the shelf from sliding in when typing. The front and rear framing forms a lip to keep your keyboard and mouse in place and makes it easier to pull the keyboard out.

M-EPS Built-Up Shelf 22” MaximumM-EPSL Large Built-Up Shelf (24”+) These shelves are built up on the sides and have a front piece that is grain matched to the cabinet side. When closed they are almost invisible. The smaller shelves are rated at 50 lbs. The larger sizes are rated at 90 lbs.

M-PS Pullout Shelf (maximum 22”d) These are pullout shelves similar to keyboard pullouts. They are made deeper for use as equipment platforms or as a place to put papers. These shelves are rated at 150 lbs.

MDR-SM Medium Document Camera Drawer A drawer designed for small or medium sized document cameras. Tell us the camera you want to use and we’ll guarantee that it fits. The rear side is lower to make using the camera easier. Rated at 100 lbs. Maximum extension is 22”.

MDR-XL Large Document Camera Drawer A drawer designed fro large document cameras. Tell us the camera you want to use and we’ll guarantee that it fits. The near side is lower to make using the camera easier. Rated at 250 lbs. Maximum extension is 36”.

PADDED COVER Our covers are custom made for each lectern shape. Rip-stop nylon inner and outer covers and a thick fiber padding layer protect your lectern from bumps and scrapes. An optional zipper is available. Colors available in Black, Grey, Red, Bright Blue, and Denim Blue. Silkscreen logos are also available.

EEF Recessed Male Socket Bring power to your lectern using any round-headed extension cord. The recessed male socket is wired in a box and wired to a 6-outlet surge protector.

APC-6 6-Outlet Surge ProtectorAPC-11 11-Outlet Surge Protector We offer two APC surge protectors. The smaller option has 6 outlets and is included with any order for clocks, lights, or cable reservoirs. It is also available separately. M-RAP Locking Rear Access Panel A locking panel is used to service racks and other equipment. For security, locks may be keyed differently than the cabinet.

M-HRAP Hidden Lock Rear Access Panel The panel lock is controlled by a cable release inside the cabinet. No locks are visible to the audience.

FF-RAP Full Front Removable Access Panel The panel lock is controlled by a cable release inside the cabinet. No locks are visible to the audience. A seam is visible from the sides of the lectern.

M-RHD Rear Hinged Doors The rear of the lectern features locking hinged doors. This adds convenience and style to the access panel function.

M-RB13 Rack Box up to 13RUM-RB20 Rack Box up to 20RU The box on the right is offset to make room for a computer. The box on the left is centered in a small lectern over the floor vent.

MSHD-24-FS Flush Hidden Drop LeafThe hidden flush drop leaf is almost invisible when closed because the grain is a perfect match with the cabinet side. When open, the top is flush with the work surface. Must be ordered with the Flush Side option. See page 13.

MSHD-24 Heavy Duty Drop LeafWe offer a superior, stainless drop leaf mechanism. The release is very positive and it locks in the down position. Weight limit is 60 lbs.

M-RM Fixed Rack Rail, front & rear, per bay Fixed equipment rack can be installed in any opening. Rear rails are included. Ventilation is provided. Access to the rear of the rack is usually via a rear access panel.

MSHD-24F Hidden Drop LeafOur heavy duty telescoping mechanism is built into the side of the cabinet. When closed it is almost invisible because the grain is a perfect match with the cabinet side.

If you need rack in any cabinet, lectern, or credenza and you don’t want a visible access panel, use a matching rack box. They are available in sizes up to 20 rack units. Rear rails are included. Boxes are notched to allow venting and are finished to match the furniture. Slide the rack out or turn it to access equipment.

M-FAN-IN Internal FanM-FAN-EX External Fan with Grill To add extra ventilation to a cabinet, we recommend putting the fan inside the cabinet to pull air in and force air out the top vents. Inside placement also reduces fan noise. We can also put external fans wherever you would like them.

MSB Step Brakes, Set of 2 This option instantly immobilizes any piece of furniture on any floor surface by lifting the cabinet off of its casters. Step to set, step to release.

CBAT Caster Brake Toe-Kick Cutout Casters with brakes (usually used on hard surface floors) are a no-charge option. We can offer this modified toe at no cost to make it easy to set and release the brakes.

M-VLDOOR Vented Locking Standard DoorsM-VPOCKET Vented Locking Pocket Doors Wood frame doors with an aluminum vent panel improve airflow. Wood frame allows secure locking and fully adjustable hinges. Vent panels are clear anodized or powder coated black.

Standard Knobs and Pulls These are our standard knobs and pulls for doors, drawers, and pullout shelves. The wire pulls are 3” and available in brass or chrome finish. The knobs are 1¼” solid brass finished as polished brass, brushed chrome, or chrome. Choose from these 5 options at no charge.

You may also specify or supply knobs, pulls, and other hardware for your furniture. It is possible that doing so will affect your cost and lead time. Please speak with our designers about your specific hardware needs.

M-LDOOR Standard Locking Doors Flat panel doors with or without quirk lines as you specify.
