Managing timecards electronically was a key focus for improvement.

Manually having crews complete timecards resulted in not only hours of

wasted productivity, but also introduced errors into the process.

Additionally, it became an administrative nightmare for the back-o�ce team

to get those timecards into their �nancial system for payroll. Verifying,

approving, and paying crews was a Herculean task –for 600 people in the

�eld every week.

The Solution

For many construction companies, including TSG, the work�ow prior to implementing Rhumbix and Morpheus revolved around paper forms. First, the foreman would complete a paper timecard with names and cost codes. The paper timecards required a “wet” signature approving the time. Next, the timecard was hand-delivered to the o�ce where a project administrator would enter it into a spreadsheet. Then a payroll administrator would manually enter the data again into the accounting and payroll system. Finally, custom reports were created to ensure TSG was neither overpaying nor underpaying people.

Irrespective of whether TSG was working on small or large, or long and short projects, they needed a standardized and highly automated process to capture critical �eld data at the source and ensure its integrity through the accounting and payroll process.
