Optimized PET PackersComar is changing the status quo to keep up with consumer preferences and retailer demand for more sustainable packaging that doesn’t sacrifice conve-nience or functionality. The lighter weight bottles are also more suitable for the growing eCommerce channel. Over the past two years Comar has invest-ed in facility infrastructure, production equipment, and tooling to optimize the production of large format PET packer bottles.
n State-of-the-Art AOKI ISBM machines in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Saddle Brook, NJ supporting east and west coast n New equipment provides greater control and precise material distribution n Overall dimensions match the previous versions of the bottles – no effect on filling or labeling equipmentn Labeling: n Bottles are rigid and rigidity increases when a cap is applied n Side walls: n Flat (not concave or convex) - Smooth (no part lines) - Good perpendicularity to the bottom surface n The bottom surface is clean, no part lines or mold flash (no excess of material) n Comar engineering support available to assist with labelingn Bottles meet USP 671 requirements for MVTR (Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate)n Bottles 300cc and above are available on both east and west coast (exception: PZ-300cc)
