These are the steps to be followed to use the Optimetrics feature in HFSS. This feature lets a user to optimize his/her design and its parameters by employing several techniques.

Open Design properties--> select optimization select the variables you want to optimize.

Select the variables then set the minimum and maximum values of these variables also set the minimum and maximum steps to be change in the value press OK

Set the No. of Iterations Click on setup calculations then press Add calculation in new window click done.

Set goal to value 1 Click OK.

Right click on Optimization Setup1Click Analyze Wait for the no. of iterations to be completed.
You can also see what changes are there in each iteration by clicking View Analysis Result.
