The Clipsal titanium® Fibre Management Enclosure (sliding) is a superior and compact fi bre termination solution. It

provides a rack/cabinet mountable solution with a provision to splice up to 48 fi bres to 48 pigtails.

Installed with a pair of cable radius guides, this enclosure can also facilitate a maximum of 24 fi bre patching

applications. This powder coated steel enclosure comes with a tinted removable Plexiglass cover for ease of

installation, inspection and testing. Innovated design such as slide in/out cable entry provides additional fl exibility

during installation, movement or changes in the future.

Designed with multiple applications in mind, the Clipsal titanium® Fibre Management Enclosure can accommodate

diff erent types of modular adapter panels and splice trays to give outstanding performance and functionality.

The Clipsal Indoor/Outdoor Riser Optical Cable features 900μm tight buff ered optical fi bres. The cable core is

surrounded with high absorption performance water swellable yarns thus permitting rapid cable preparation

and termination. The cable outer sheath is UV resistant and made from a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) fl ame

retardant and low toxicity gas emission material.

Most suitable for riser application; e.g. lift shafts, as fi bres will not creep within cable jacket. No looping is required.

Vertical drops up to 100m can be achieved with no clamping. Longer distances can be achieved with clamping at

least every 600mm.

Typical installation environment for these indoor/outdoor cables includes fully enclosed locations as well as

external locations where cable may be soaked by water on an intermittent basis. When installed outdoors, cable

must be installed in dry and drained conduit or duct and these must be eff ectively maintained throughout the life

of the cable to ensure no water penetration, and adequate drainage should water penetration occur.

The Clipsal Distribution Underground Optical Cable contains acrylate coated optical fi bres in water blocked loose

tubes. Elements are stranded around a non-metallic central strength member. The cable core is made up of a

combination of water blocked loose tubes (each containing up to 12 optical fi bres) and solid fi llers, to give the

required fi bre count. The cable core is surrounded with high absorption performance water swellable yarns and

wrapped with tape/binders as required thus permitting rapid cable preparation and termination. The cable is

sheathed with polyethylene and jacketed with an integrally bounded nylon jacket as a protective layer against

termites and ants.
